Wrestling In A Mans World

Hello Everyone and welcome back to my blog today. So for this post I wanted to talk about what it’s really like being a woman in an industry that’s dominated by men. So I’m going to be a real feminist with this and probably make people mad but who cares. Let’s get into it.

So how I want to start this is that I see a lot more men that are dominating the companies now. I kind of feel bad for the Superstars because I do want more of them in leagues. I like diversity. And also I love equality. I am in an all-female league and I love that. I believe with TKS we can show men that we are just as tough and powerful as them, and that we can run an all-female league just like some can run an all-male league. Now with CTO and other diverse companies, divas might now be the main focus points. Which is great, like push the women athletes please, but at the same time the superstars feel put numbered and shunned almost. And I honestly feel bad. Here some of them are complaining that everything is all about divas. And then us saying that they think they are better than us. Honestly I think to make certain leagues work, both sides need to shut up and work together. Stop talking about one another and just worry about yourself, your attires, your storylines, your gimmick, just you. Let the Divas worry about themselves and let the Superstars worry about themselves.

Now with that being said, I hate when the superstars do NOT take us seriously. Now from one stand point I can see why they kind of laugh at us. Including myself all we do on Twitter and social media platforms we show off our new gear. Or show us going out for a drink or whatever. Now what about our training. We don’t show that off that often. We don’t show what we do to prepare for the ring. And most of us don’t even wrestle. Like why are you in the wrestling business not wrestling. Are you a manager, a valet, are you part of the board of what? As I said before I do this but at the same time I do talk to my friends and even the people I don’t get along with that I would like a match. Me and Rachel Reigns train together all the time. Julianna Arceneau joins us many of times to train. We always talk about doing independent matches/side matches for the companies that we are in. And who could possibly be involved. And I know there are other divas that are training and putting out matches like Adriana Sharpova, Logan Perris, Morgan Rivera and ect. Which is great and I would love to see more matches from then, but also I would love to see matches from other girls. I want to be the best like most of these superstars and not better. So I think we need to show the boys that girls can certainly do it better, and look beautiful while doing it.

Now to the few Superstars I'm sure that is reading this, lighten the fuck up. I hate that Superstars categorize us all together. Don’t call me a model. Don’t call me weak or dainty or anything girly. Yes, I love all that stuff but when it comes to fighting I can probably do it better than you. I love to wrestle and work my ass off to put on one hell of a performance. Do you know how downgrading it feels when you tell me how better you are? How can you be better than me when you literally have no matches out there until this year? Like I try, and try, and try my fucking hardest to even make you guys proud and say “Wow, Angel can put on a show”. But no. You put me as a skinny little diamond encrusted wearing model. And no shade to them but I’m so much more than that. I would love to wear a diamond encrusted bra and probably will, but I’ll wear it while wrestling. I don’t just model I wrestle. And I would love to prove it to any superstar (RP or SIM) that I can wrestle. So if we ever find a way, Sean O’Riley, Logan Drew, Eric Rivera, Calvin Carter, and even Darren Dastardly or any guy anywhere that wants to fight. I’m calling you out. Any male or female that want’s to fight, let me know because I do not back down from a challenge.

So I hope you all enjoyed my little feminist rant that needed to get off my chest. And I’ll be waiting for all those challenges ladies! Catch you later - Angel
